how to get to Girigiri

  By air

  Nearest aiport is in Mangalore which is 70KM from Girigiri. We can organize pickup from the airport for a charge of rs 1500.

  By train

  Nearest train station is in Udupi, which is 12 KM away from girigiri. We can organize a pickup from the train station at a nominal cost of rs 500.

• 

  By bus

  Udupi KSRTC bus stand is around 10 KM from Girigiri. We can organize a pickup for a nominal cost of Rs 400

• 

  By car

  if you are driving from Mangalore, immediately after the bridge over river madisalu ( second river after Udupi) , you have to take a U-Turn and drive back 200 meters. Just before the bridge, you'll find a road to your left. Drive 1KM by the river and you'll reach Girigiri.

If you are driving from north (Goa or Kundapur), after Brahmavara, when you see the first bridge over river madisalu ( around 3.2 Km), take a left in the road adjacent to the river and drive a KM to find girigiri.
